Potent home remedies for cellulite

Let me paint a little picture for you…

The lights are on low.

The music is pumping. My song of choice “Shake it Out” by that fiery minx Florence and the Machine.

Fresh out of the shower and getting ready to kick off my day.

Oops! Towel dropped.

No one’s home. It’s okay. Time for a little dance party!

As I’m shaking my sh*t to the beat of the music in front of the mirror (as one does), I nearly slam into my bed frame when I see my tushie’s reflection in the mirror.

What. Is. That. Dimple?

No, this is not a sexy above-the-tush-dimple…it’s cellulite! AHHHHHHHHHH!

First of all, don’t pretend like ya’ll have never danced around naked before. I know you have!

Secondly, that first gleam of cellulite is every girl’s naked nightmare, but being a positive person, I know I can make this nightmare end with a few potent home remedies for cellulite!

Ugh, Cellulite!

I’m not going to waste your time with facts about this nasty fat buildup that occurs deep within your skin. If you want more info you can always check out what V had to say about it in her post How To Get Rid of Cellulite Fast and Naturally.

What I am going to do is show you my simple cellulite solution; Sage.

What is Sage?

Sage is a perennial evergreen shrub native to the Mediterranean region, but naturalized in many places around the world now.

Sage contains caffeic acid and niacin which are both effective in fighting cellulite. Together they catabolize fat, carbs and alcohol which can be leading causes of cellulite development. They encourage high cell rate turnover so new, healthy cells can develop and rejuvenate your skin.

Raise your hand if you like to relax after a hard day’s work?

*raises hand*

Now, raise your hand if you like a good bath or hearty massage?

*throws both hands in the air and waves ‘em like she just don’t care*

Yea, that’s what I thought! Well, what if I told you that both of those things were beneficial to fighting cellulite?

Let’s draw a sensuous sage bath, shall we? In your bath, place 30 drops of Sage essential oil or a fistful of the fresh herb. Stir it around then sit back and relax.

After soaking for at least 10 minutes, begin to massage your cellulite zones. You want to stimulate the blood flow, increase circulation and knead away at the fat deposits.

Or if you’ve got a partner with strong hands, put them to use with this cellulite-savvy massage oil.

Mix together:

  • 5 drops Sage Oil
  • 3 drops Fennel Oil
  • 5 drops Rosemary Oil
  • 10 drops Orange Oil
  • 10 drops of Lemon Oil
  • 3 tablespoons Coconut Oil

Make sure they are mixed and blended evenly then put your partner to work. If you repeat this once daily you will see significant results in 30 days or less.

While I love all-natural home remedies for cellulite, they’re not for everyone. If this sounds more like you then I strongly suggest Finulite.

Finulite rids your body of cellulite and helps repair previous skin damage, and it just so happens to be V’s go-to anti-cellulite product.

Have you tried any home remedies for cellulite? Perhaps, you’ve bought a product you love (or loathe!). As always, share your experiences with us in the comment section below!
