Don’t you just love getting all dolled up for a night on the town? Since I rarely do it these days, it’s such a treat when I do suck it up and drag my butt out.
It also means that when I put that much time and effort into how I look I definitely want to be using products that are the best of the best. With that being said, I’ve decided to dedicate this post to sharing my favourite beautifying products from head to toe.
From tip to tootsie, you are going to want to add these products to your Christmas and birthday wish lists.
My Favourite Head to Toe Beauty Products
There’s a lot to cover when it comes to the neck up. For lovely locks and a fancy face, be sure to check out these products:
I’m a sucker for curly hair. I have stick straight hair so I love giving it a little volume with curls. I always used a traditional curling iron, until V introduced me to the hair wand.
Hair wands (I like this one) are similar to curling irons insofar as they are rods that heat up. Their main difference is that there is not a clamp to hold hair between heat.
To use a hair wand you simply wrap your hair around the tapered barrel and hold. It takes no time at all for your hair to take shape so don’t hold it there for too long. Do your entire head in sections, shake it out, and hairspray.
If you are unlike me and already have curly hair, you’re probably going to want to add a flat iron to your list. Finding the best flat iron means reading up on them a bit.
I really dig Ceramic/Titanium plated irons. With temperature controls going up to 450F and ionizers your hair will be sleek and shiny with little effort.
I was rummaging through my makeup bag not too long ago and it dawned on me; I haven’t replaced my makeup brushes in ages. Yuck.
Just looking inside my makeup bag I can see how it would be a bacterial breeding ground. Constantly tossing my brushes back in it is just making maters worse. That’s why I’ve added a new makeup brush set to my Christmas wish list.
Taking proper care of your brushes and replacing them every now and again reduces your risk of bacterial infections. It’s a helluva lot easier than waiting for Pink Eye to clear up. Am I right, or am I right?
If you want skin that’s smoother than a baby’s bottom, you’re going to want to invest in an exfoliating glove. Exfoliating gloves give your skin the ultimate rubdown. When you focus on areas like your elbows, knees and heels, you’ll really notice a difference.
Suffering from a little bit of a treasure trail? Perhaps it’s time to invest in some hair removal. If waxing or shaving isn’t cutting it, try giving the Silk’n Flash & Go a try. It’s an at-home permanent hair removal option that will take care of those flyaways.
And I just love that you can do it from the privacy of your own bathroom! I can get a little bashful when it comes to that sort of stuff.
Shocking. I know.
One of the first things I notice on a stranger—especially someone in customer service—is the quality of their nails.
People who bite theirs, have chipped polish or generally dirty paws make me want to squirm with disgust. Seriously, why can’t you just take care of your hands?
One of the easiest things you can do to attain flawless fingers is apply some sexy gel nails. Rather than shell out big bucks in the salon, do it from home with the Sally Hansen Salon Pro Gel Starter Kit. Easy to use and definitely affordable.
Add it to the list, woman!
Just because we rarely pay attention to our feet doesn’t mean they don’t deserve a little TLC. After all, we stand on those suckers day in and day out.
Similar to fingers, rather than dishing out the dough on regular pedicures, why not try an at-home alternative?
There’s a product called Easy Feet that looks like a sandal with bristles. It has several bristle options and helps clear away odor-causing bacteria.
The built-in pumice stone at the heel helps rid your feet of nasty calluses and tree bark skin. Give it a whirl, your feet will feel great afterwards.
So we’ve managed to make it from head to toe. With the help of these 7 beautifying products, you’ll have no trouble creating an outstanding gift wish list this year!
